Description
The Dark-eyed Junco is an energetic bird about the size of a sparrow. It is easily identified by its dark gray head and back, white belly and outer tail feathers, and slightly pink beak. It is nicknamed the snowbird of Ohio, because it flies to the Buckeye State to avoid colder temperatures elsewhere.
